Michigan Fall Foliage

I was working in both the Northern part of the Lower Peninsula and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan a couple weeks ago in the peak of the autumn colors. I travel all over Michigan for work and what I love about the state is the four seasons. Even though I may travel the same roads over and over there is always something different to look at. In the winter you may have several feet of snow with more snowmobiles at the gas stations then cars, in the spring you have all the flowers blooming with the hope of summer around the corner. When summer does arrive there are vehicles lined up on highway 2 with families swimming in Lake Michigan or on highway 28 and Lake Superior, and then there is the beauty of the fall foliage. Every color you can imagine and an endless amount of trees, rivers, wildlife and of course all of the lakes. Everywhere you look is another opportunity for a postcard quality photo; it makes it hard to keep your eyes on the road.
